Our Mission

We are the Pan-Florida Challenge. And we will not stop until the problem of childhood hunger in Florida is solved.  No local kid hungry.  Not one.

This is our mission. Our creed. And our battle cry. Call it our manifesto –It moves us.  Hunger in Florida’s children is solvable. It’s doable and we are the ones doing it.  Here and now. Today. And we are not too few. We are thousands already. And we are starting a movement. The Pan-Florida Challenge to end childhood hunger. This is a call for you and thousands of others just like you to join us. End hunger in our local kids with us.  All together, once and for all, we will End Hunger in Florida’s children.  We know how. We have cracked the code. And We have been doing it already. Join us.

What We Believe.

If every child in Florida was fed, no local children would go hungry.  Not one.  

This is no longer a wish or a far-off dream. It’s here, today. For just such a time as this.We can solve this problem. It’s doable and we are doing it.  We are the Pan-Florida Challenge. We are a movement – not another cause. We are on mission to get to No local kid hungry.  Not one. This is our creed. And It moves us.  How about you? Our PFC Leaders

Naples, FL based Pan-Florida Challenge is a nonprofit corporation that stages an annual fundraising event, a two day, 180 mile bike ride across Florida from Naples to Ft. Pierce, held in March. Through our fundraising and partnerships, we provide meals to hungry children who do not know where their next meal is coming from. Donations to the Pan-Florida Challenge are tax deductible. Our goal is for 100% of riders’ donations to go towards feeding hungry kids. Pan-Florida Challenge Inc. is an exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your donation may be tax deductible.

Pan-Florida Challenge Raises Over $1 Million Dollars For Local Hungry Kids, Partners with the Hendry County Public School District, The Hendry County Tourism Development Council, The United Way of Lee, Hendry, Okeechobee & Glades, Operation Back Pack in Labelle, and The United Methodist Church in Clewiston to feed 190,000 Meals to 400 local students going hungry on weekends in 7 Schools in Hendry County.
