What Is The Pan-Florida Challenge Cancer Bike Ride?

Our annual cycling event, the Pan-Florida Challenge Cancer Bike Ride, brings together a group of dedicated cyclists and everyday individuals on a mission to fight cancer. Whether you’re celebrating survival or honoring a loved one, we welcome cyclists of all ages and abilities to choose one of our multiple routes and ride with us on March 25-26, 2023. Click on any of the nine distances below to learn more about start times, registration fees, and fundraising minimums. Your participation supports our mission to fund cancer prevention.

 

Form or Join a Team

If you don’t want to ride alone, you don’t have to — form or join a team! The majority of routes follow the same turn-by-turns for the first five miles, so you can cycle alongside your friends, coworkers, or family members if you’d like. 

Other details on forming or joining a team: 

  • You can be part of a team and choose to ride a route different than your teammates.
  • As part of a team, fundraising minimums can be grouped, for example: If a team of five members is collectively responsible for raising $,5000 and one person raises $3,000, the other members need to raise $2,000. Fundraising feels a lot less daunting when you have a support system.
  • Teams can be sponsored by their employers and are eligible for awards, like The Chairman’s Award for highest fundraising and The Peloton Award for the largest team.

PFC Junior Ride

Got kids? They can join in on the fun, too! Round ’em up for a ride around the lake at the Paradise Coast Sport Complex. One lap around is 1/4 of a mile. Scooters, trikes, and bikes with training wheels are welcome.

10-Mile Ride Naples

Our 10-mile ride is great for cyclists that are new to the sport or looking to ride for leisure. Go at your own speed without having to worry about falling behind and get comfortable being on your bike.

30-Mile Ride Naples

Our 30-mile ride is perfect for a casual or beginner cyclist. This distance is a great introduction to endurance cycling. It’s also an option for cyclists who haven’t trained enough for the longer routes.

62-Mile Ride Naples

Our 62-mile ride is no easy feat, even when riding on flat, Florida terrain. This ride distance is designed to test your strength, pace, and speed, and help you build stamina for rides that exceed more than 3 hours.

100-Mile Ride Naples

Our 100-mile ride is an important milestone for many passionate cyclists. This distance is geared towards a seasoned rider who’s logged several miles in preparation for crossing its finish line.

125-Mile Ride Naples

Our 125-mile ride is an important milestone for many passionate cyclists. This distance is geared towards a seasoned rider who’s logged several miles in preparation for crossing its finish line.

10-Mile Ride Tampa
